Xpert Visits Air Ambulance Northern Ireland

On 18th February, our Managing Director Glenn, Sales Director Reuben, Head of Brand & Marketing Jack, and Creative Content Specialist Craig visited the Air Ambulance Northern Ireland base to officially kick off our 2026 Foundation partnership.

Air Ambulance NI provides the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service for Northern Ireland, in partnership with the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service. Operating 365 days a year, the charity's helicopter carries a doctor, paramedic and pilot directly to the scene of the most serious emergencies — reaching anywhere in the province in approximately 25 minutes. On average, two people every single day find themselves in critical need of this service. It costs £8,200 a day to keep the air ambulance operational, and the charity receives no government funding. It relies entirely on the support of the public and local businesses to stay in the air.

We were welcomed by Colleen, Business Development & Project Manager at AANI, who walked us through the charity's impact and why continued support is so important. After the presentation, we were given a full tour of the facilities and got up close with the helicopter. Seeing the operation first-hand brings home just how vital this service is.

Many of our customers work in farming, construction and trade — industries where serious accidents can happen without warning, often in remote locations far from a hospital. Air Ambulance NI is a lifeline for these communities, and this partnership is personal to us.
