We stand by our product quality, and that’s why we back it up with a 6-month performance guarantee, so you can have peace of mind when you wear any Xpert product. If your item of footwear or workwear fails you within 6 months of purchase, we will repair it, replace it, or refund you your purchase price.
All Xpert workwear and footwear is warranted for six (6) months from the date of purchase by the consumer as shown on their receipt of purchase or other acceptable proof of purchase, against defective workmanship and/or materials when used under normal conditions for the purpose intended.
The warranty is void if in the opinion of Xpert, the product has been misused or subject to excessive wear and tear including:
- Misuse, abuse, accidents, neglect
- Use of the product in a manner contrary to its purpose or suitability
- Problems that may be reasonably expected with normal wear
- Other actions that occur after the product leaves our control. These may include (but are not limited to) cuts/abrasions, excessive heat/burns and exposures to chemicals, excessive water or force.
- Products purchased as used, for example purchases made from auction and classifieds sites or private sellers
- Products offered for rent. This includes products offered on online gear rental platforms, training schools, outdoor clubs

Please return the item to the place of purchase. As a requirement of this warranty the purchaser must present the workwear or footwear and provide evidence of purchase. If deemed to be defective, we will repair it, replace it, or refund you your purchase price.

Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cottonmount Trading Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from the use or inability to use any of our workwear or footwear products, even if advised of the possibility of such damages arising out of or in connection with the use or misuse of any workwear or footwear products supplied by Cottonmount Trading Ltd.
Our liability in connection with any product, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, shall be strictly limited to the purchase price of that product. While our products are designed for durability and safety, Cottonmount Trading Ltd makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the fitness of the products for any specific purpose or use, including compliance with safety regulations not expressly stated on product labels or documentation.
It is the responsibility of the purchaser or end user to determine the suitability of the product for its intended application, and to ensure proper usage, maintenance, and compliance with applicable workplace safety standards. Cottonmount Trading Ltd shall not be held liable for injuries, damages, or losses resulting from misuse, modification, or improper use of any product.
If any provision of this guarantee is unlawful, void or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect any remaining provisions.

No, as long as you have evidence of your original purchase, then your good to go.
WHO DECIDES WHETHER TO UPHOLD THE CLAIM
The final decision whether a product is deemed to have failed and should be covered by the guarantee is made by the Xpert Quality Assessment team.
I HAVE CUSTOMISED MY PRODUCT, DOES THE GUARANTEE STILL COVER ME
We will still consider your claim. However, if we determine that your customisation, for example adding embroidery, is the cause of the product failure, then we reserve the right to reject the claim. The cost of any embroidery / printing or other customisation is not covered.
I CAN’T FIND MY RECEIPT
It happens to all of us, but all is not lost. If you can reasonably demonstrate how you purchased the boots, for example a bank statement or other acceptable proof of purchase, then we will still consider your claim.
I HAVE NO PROOF OF PURCHASE
If you have absolutely no way of providing a proof of purchase in any form, then we may still consider your claim! If the product is within 12 months of the date of manufacture which will be stamped or printed on the product, you can submit a claim. Please return the item to the place of purchase and provide as much detail as you can to help us assess the reason for failure.
ARE PRODUCTS THAT ARE GIVEN TO ME BY MY EMPLOYER COVERED BY THE GUARANTEE
Products issued to the professional end-user by an employer are not covered by the guarantee. This includes most products for military, law enforcement, fire & safety, industrial and corporate uses.
WHO PAYS FOR SHIPPING
You are responsible for returning your product to the place of purchase for evaluation at your own cost. If Xpert upholds the claim, Xpert will pay for return shipping of the new or repaired product.
