Matthew Armstrong

I joined Xpert Workwear shortly after graduating from Durham University Business School, starting my journey as a Business Development Executive before progressing into my current role as Business Development Manager.

From the beginning, Xpert felt like the perfect place to combine my business knowledge with my own personal experiences. Growing up on a farm, building relationships, understanding people, and finding practical solutions have always been a big part of who I am ..  whether that’s working with customers, colleagues, or the occasional four-legged challenge back home!

My role focuses on strengthening partnerships with our customers across Ireland, particularly our larger retail partners. I enjoy getting to know their businesses, understanding the challenges they face, and working collaboratively to identify opportunities that create real value.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. You’ll usually find me back on the farm with Dad, running or playing football with friends. or figuring out where I can add the next stamp to my passport (35 countries and counting!)
